I've got that Easter feeling!!

Easter is my favorite holiday of the year!  and its fast approaching.  I want to do something great this year for the boys (even though they wont remember it).  I'm working on my first Easter project and its just about done...
this pattern comes from InnerHooker.bigcartel.com

I also want to get Emmett and Everetts picture taken with some real bunnies!  ... I should probably take Easter week off next year!  So I can spend more time working on Easter crafts!  The colors make me happy!

6 Months!

WOW! We've made it half a year... Its unbelievable the things Tommy and I have learned and the things Emmett and Everett have learned. We teach them a little and they teach us a lot! Ive been peed on too many times to count and pulled out more boogies then I can cant haha.

Lets recap the last 6 months...

Starting off with Baby A. Mr. Everett Phillip Fruge born weighing 5lbs 8 oz and wearing preemie diapers and clothes. Everett is know wearing a size 3 diaper and wearing 6-12 mon clothing. He has really grown but his personality hasnt changed all that much haha. Even in his ultrasound pictures he didn't want to cooperate and he is pretty much the same way now. He likes to do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He enjoys his belly time now and is already picking his knees up underneath him the beginnings of crawling. Everett has always been a big eater, but lately he has gotten more picky just the other night I gave him a bite of green beans and he made the most disgusted face ever! haha Which totally cracks me up because he loves pickles... How is that possible? That baby has some messed up taste buds. He is also on this kick where he loves to touch faces like he is trying to remember your face. Emmett hates this!

and on to Baby B. Mr. Emmett James Fruge was the littlest baby Ive ever seen he was born 4lb 6 oz and had a hard time starting off getting a good appetite, but no worries with that anymore! There hasn't been a food Emmett has turned his nose up at he has seemed to love them all. Emmett has been a ham since before he was born waving in ultrasound pictures and even looking at the camera. He loves to smile at people that talk to him when we are out shopping or at a resturant. A woman actually stopped me the other day and said "He is going to be the one to go get the girls with that flirty smile!" Ha... Ha... Oh no...
Emmett isnt in a much of a hurry to crawl as Everett he gets around just find by rolling he has really perfected rolling to anywhere I am in the living room and crying at my feet to be held. He is definitely my lovey dovey little boy. Emmett has recently picked up a new habit that just drives me crazy but I cant fuss because its so darn cute. He sticks two fingers in his mouth and sucks them instead of a pacifier.

To be continued...

Easter Bottom!

This is a diaper cover for a little girls easter pictures! All I have left to do is tie up loose yarn ends and make matching headband! But that will have to wait until tomorrow one last feeding for Em and Ev then its bedtime!

Weekend Wrap-up

This weekend was Khloe's (Em & Ev's Cousin) First Birthday Party!!
We all had a great time at the birthday party.
"Good Morning" Would you like some coffee?"
(Don't be concerned coffee pot was not on. Just loading it maybe we could use him to help out on our 4th Sunday coffee crew @ WatersEdge)

Emmett loves to be involved in everything Im doing! We have to take that bumbo with us from room to room. He watches me fold laundry, get the coffee pot ready, and wash dishes.

As I was rocking Everett to sleep Emmett was patiently sitting on the side of me waiting for his turn, but poor thing he didnt make it!

Such BIG boys sleeping in their beds! I thought it was so funny everytime I would go check on them they were in a different position on a different spot of the bed, but always together. Brotherly Love! Hope it stays that way!!!

Big Boy Bed

Today was one of the most productive days I have had in a long time. I woke up super early to get ready to get my haircut. Once I was five lbs lighter I came home and found a burst of energy and cleaned cleaned and cleaned some more. I am talking about the scrubbing kind of cleaning.
Then we got ready for Hunters basketball game. It was the first play off game, and they WON! It always amazes me how Emmett and Everett don't seem to mind all the buzzers and whistles.
To celebrate the win we went out to dinner. The company was great the meal not so much.
Now we are home and getting ready for bed and tonight is the first night Emmett and Everett have slept in their own room. I'm so used to having them in their pack-n-play in my room. They seem to be doing great, on the other hand I am not. I am up walking into their room everytime they make a noise on the monitor. In fact I am writing this post because the office is closest to their room. How sick is that!?! haha
Wish me luck! Im headed to my own room to relax and get some knitting done. I hope to have a finished project posted soon!

The Little Things

The days seem so busy with work, cleaning, dogs, and 2 kids that I feel like I don't take enough time just to sit back and enjoy the little things that happen day to day in my life.

I haven't stopped to take many pictures of the boys messy from eating. I've been too busy cleaning them up. So today I decided just to stop and enjoy Emmett and Everett loving their dinner.

As a new parent I never realized how quickly things pass, and before you know it your newborn isnt really a newborn anymore and all of the sudden you are buying 6 month clothing for a baby that is trying to crawl. It is such a mixed emotion. On one hand I feel very happy for the milestones Emmett and Everett are reaching and I feel the excitement they feel when they learn something new, but on the other hand I know every new milestone is leading to them growing up. It's going to very hard not to push them over the first time they stand up haha.
